Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) position is a critical role responsible for delivering high-quality patient care within a healthcare facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members. You will address the immediate and long-term medical needs of patients, ensuring their comfort and quick recovery through efficient and empathetic care practices. Daily responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient health, updating patient records, and offering support and education to patients and their families. Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patient health conditions based on input from physicians.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for each patient.
  • Administer medications, monitor response to treatment, and document findings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records and documentation.
  • Provide educational support to patients and families about health conditions.
  • Facilitate and support hospital discharge planning and patient follow-up care.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, standards, and practices.
  • Supervise junior nursing staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct health screenings and immunizations as per healthcare protocols.

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment is mandatory.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate's degree in nursing.
  • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a patient-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and related software.
  • CPR certification or Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
