Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team, providing exceptional care to our patients. As a vital member of our medical staff, you will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch patient care, both in clinical settings and home environments. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care activities.
  • Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to plan and evaluate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on illness management and health maintenance practices.
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatments.
  • Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment, ensuring proper operation and maintenance.
  • Provide health care, first aid, or emergency care to patients or clients as needed.
  • Conduct specified laboratory tests and maintain accurate medication inventories.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate patient referrals to specialist care.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • Valid nursing license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current CPR and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology.
