Job Description

A Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in the healthcare system, providing direct patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive health services. The position of a Registered Nurse is vital in both outpatient and inpatient settings, where the nurse is responsible for assessing patients’ health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. As a Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with monitoring patient health, administering medications, educating patients and their families on medical conditions and treatments, and contributing to the alleviation of patient discomfort. Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patients' conditions and develop personalized care plans accordingly.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Document patients' conditions, treatments, and progress in medical records accurately.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and address their concerns and needs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to protocols.
  • Supervise and support the work of non-licensed nursing staff and nursing students.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results to provide necessary patient care.
  • Communicate with healthcare team members to facilitate optimal patient care delivery.
  • Keep up-to-date with medical knowledge and advancements for improved care practices.
  • Advocate for patients’ needs and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • Current registered nurse license in the state of practice is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records and medical software applications.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
