Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team and provide excellent patient care. As a vital member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. You will work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history and current health status evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for diverse patient needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed medical protocols.
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation following policy standards.
  • Assist in medical procedures and provide post-operative care and support to patients.
  • Respond promptly to patient queries and emergency situations with professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and medical protocols.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control protocols.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and patient management systems.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting patients when necessary.
