Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at our healthcare facility, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality patient care and support. Your role will involve assessing patients' health needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Assess and document patients' health conditions to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physicians’ instructions.
  • Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans for better outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records according to facility standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all health care regulations and safety protocols.
  • Direct and supervise less experienced nursing staff and offer mentorship as needed.
  • Prepare patients for medical procedures and assist doctors during examinations.
  • Participate in continuous education and training to stay informed of nursing best practices.
  • Respond quickly to patient emergencies, providing first aid and lifesaving procedures when necessary.
  • Promote an environment of respect, compassion, and encouragement for patients and staff alike.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited program preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or similar setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information.
  • CPR and BLS certifications are required, with ACLS certification as a bonus.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records and other healthcare software tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
