Responsibilities

  • Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and effectively.
  • Collect and verify patient information and update it in the healthcare system.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing patient records.
  • Respond promptly to patient queries and provide accurate information regarding services.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and equipped with necessary supplies.
  • Assist in processing payments and handling insurance verification and claims.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care and improve services.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information following healthcare regulations and policies.
  • Keep track of office supplies and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using office equipment and standard healthcare management software.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
