Job Description

Our company is searching for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our organization, ensuring that visitors feel welcome and receive the information they need. They will manage the front desk operations, handle phone calls, and maintain office environment efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle a variety of tasks to ensure that our office runs smoothly. This role is vital to creating a positive first impression on our clients and partners, and it requires a person who is personable, professional, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor upon their arrival.
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to appropriate departments efficiently.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming front desk area at all times.
  • Provide information about the company and services to visitors and callers.
  • Receive and distribute daily mail and deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting room bookings as required.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Manage office supply inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company security procedures regarding visitor check-ins.
  • Keep updated records of office activities and appointments for the reception area.
  • Coordinate front desk activities, including addressing correspondence and redirecting calls.
  • Support various office activities and liaise between departments as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with superb attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment operation.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
  • A professional appearance and proactive work attitude are required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus.
