Pulse Nova is seeking a Radar After Sales Engineer to provide technical support throughout the operational lifecycle of advanced radar systems. This role is responsible for ensuring system availability and customer satisfaction by delivering expert troubleshooting, maintenance support, fault analysis, and field service activities. Working closely with engineering, logistics, and customer teams, the successful candidate will help resolve complex technical issues, drive continuous reliability improvements for defense radar solutions.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for radar systems in service, including troubleshooting, fault isolation, corrective maintenance, and operational recovery actions.
Support field interventions, acceptance tests, maintenance campaigns, upgrades, and customer technical queries in coordination with internal engineering teams.
Analyze incidents and equipment performance trends, documenting findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions in a structured manner.
Prepare and update service reports, failure analyses, maintenance instructions, and configuration records to ensure traceability and knowledge retention.
Coordinate with repair centers, supply chain, and engineering teams to manage spare parts, returns, repairs, and technical escalations effectively.
Contribute to reliability improvement by identifying recurring issues, proposing corrective actions, and feeding lessons learned back into design and support processes.
Support training, technical publications, and customer-facing service activities that improve operational autonomy and satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and customer procedures during all after-sales and field support activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience in technical support, maintenance engineering, field service, or after-sales support of complex electronic systems.
Knowledge of radar, RF, communications, or defense-related systems, with the ability to understand subsystem interactions and operational constraints.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with experience using test equipment and interpreting technical documentation.
Ability to document incidents clearly and coordinate effectively with engineering, logistics, and customer stakeholders.
Willingness to travel for field interventions, service campaigns, and customer support activities when required.
Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability operational environments is considered a plus.
