Quantity Surveyor CMS

Penspen is hiring experienced Quantity Surveyors CMS - Site based in Abu Dhabi to support high-value Oil & Gas projects.

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all cost and contract aspects of construction and maintenance services (CMS) projects within an oil and gas environment. The role is site‑based and requires strong commercial awareness, contract administration skills, and the ability to work closely with project teams to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and project forecasts
• Measure quantities and value construction works
• Administer contracts and manage variations through CMS
• Prepare payment applications, certifications, and final accounts
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, and commercial risks
• Maintain accurate commercial records and reports within CMS
• Support claims, change management, and contract compliance
  
  

• Diploma in Engineering Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline is mandatory
• Professional certification (RICS, AIQS, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• 10+ years of QS experience in the oil & gas sector
• 5 years in GCC region
• Proven experience using Construction Management Systems (CMS)
• Experience in large-scale construction or EPC/EPCM projects working on site (onshore preferred)
• Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (CostX, Candy, Primavera, or similar).
