Job Description

The Quality Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet consistent standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Charged with developing and implementing quality management procedures, this position requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of quality assurance and control processes. The Quality Manager will oversee all quality-related activities, from initial raw material sourcing to final delivery. They will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to streamline processes and instill a culture of continuous improvement in line with company objectives. This role demands excellent communication and leadership skills to guide and mentor the quality assurance team, ensuring adherence to both regulatory and customer requirements. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Lead the quality assurance team in daily operations and long-term strategizing.
  • Conduct regular audits and process assessments to uphold standards compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks affecting product quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product development processes.
  • Analyze quality performance metrics and generate detailed performance reports.
  • Manage corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues.
  • Guide and mentor team members to foster professional growth and excellence.
  • Liaise with vendors and customers to resolve quality-related concerns efficiently.
  • Ensure that customer expectations are met or surpassed concerning product quality.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Initiate, track, and report on continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards.
  • Proven experience leading a quality assurance or quality control team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvements effectively.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance tools and software applications is advantageous.
