Job Description

The Quality Manager plays a vital role within an organization, ensuring that products or services meet consistent standards and regulatory requirements. This position requires a strategic mindset to oversee the entire quality assurance process, from concept through to execution, while closely collaborating with various departments to maintain company reputation and customer satisfaction. The Quality Manager is responsible for implementing quality standards, leading quality management systems, and continuously driving improvements. A successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, alongside a thorough understanding of quality assurance methodologies, equipment, and processes. This role is essential in fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization, ensuring that business practices comply with quality regulations and customer expectations are not only met but exceeded.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management strategies and plans to meet business objectives.
  • Lead and manage quality assurance processes for maintaining product or service excellence.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Establish quality standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor production processes to identify deviations from quality standards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance.
  • Manage and mentor the quality assurance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Analyze quality metrics and generate reports to track quality performance and trends.
  • Facilitate training sessions to educate employees on quality processes and best practices.
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality standards are maintained in supply chains.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to quality assurance and regulatory conformance.
  • Address customer complaints and feedback to improve quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum five years of experience in quality assurance or quality management roles.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of quality management systems like ISO 9001.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a team of quality professionals.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and achieve measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed quality assurance decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with quality improvement tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, or another relevant methodology.
