Job Description

The role:

We are looking for a Quality Engineer – Inspection & Surveillance to join our team.

To support the Compliance Monitoring & Quality Department through inspections, surveillance activities, and quality monitoring of maintenance operations, facilities, equipment, and documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable aviation regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and ad-hoc surveillance activities of maintenance operations and supporting processes.
  • Perform inspections of facilities, workshops, storage areas, tools, equipment, and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct spot checks of maintenance records, work packages, task cards, and technical documentation.
  • Review Certificates of Conformity (COC), material certificates, and traceability documentation as assigned.
  • Verify compliance with approved maintenance procedures and company requirements.
  • Monitor housekeeping standards within hangars, workshops, and maintenance areas.
  • Perform inspections related to tool control, calibration status, and equipment condition.
  • Verify segregation and identification of serviceable and unserviceable materials and components.
  • Support customer inspections and quality-related activities on-site.
  • Raise non-conformities, observations, and inspection reports when required.
  • Support investigations related to quality findings and compliance issues.
  • Participate in internal audits and surveillance programs as assigned.
  • Follow up corrective actions resulting from inspections and surveillance activities.
  • Maintain inspection records and surveillance reports.
  • Perform additional quality-related duties assigned by the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager.


Experience:

  • Higher Diploma/bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or aviation related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience is a must.
  • Experience within an EASA Part-145 environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance practices and maintenance documentation.
  • Experience conducting inspections and surveillance activities.

  • Excellent communication in English.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.


This position requires that you will be approved in a security vetting in accordance to ISO:27001+
