Job Description

The Quality Control Team Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the QC team to ensure that products, materials, or construction works meet required standards and specifications. They ensure adherence to quality procedures, monitor inspection processes, and lead corrective and preventive action plans.



Job Description


  • Create an Inspection Test Plan (ITP) across all materials in terms of type of inspection, inspection survey, inspection steps, etc.
  • Plan and administer the laboratories testing, interpret test results, compare them to established specifications, and ensure its compliance.
  • Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform routine and non-routine tests of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, and finished goods.
  • Review Methods of Statement from the Shop Drawing team and communicate to the subcontractors the quality plan for implementation.
  • Present Material Submittal document to the project consultant, that entails the quality of materials used, data sheets, etc., for compliance purposes.
  • Respond to all external and internal inspection requests (IR), by performing inspections on products and materials with consultants to ensure its compliance with standards.
  • Assess and calibrate all project’s equipment and materials used to ensure compliance with the quality standards, measures, and performance.
  • Report, monthly, to the management a summary quality control report of all the quality activities performed in terms of, non-conformance reports statuses (NCR), material inspection requests (MIR), internal and external inspection requests (IR), etc.
  • Administer documents inspection and audit the construction progress as required for quality improvement purposes.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in civil or architectural engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience in Quality Control, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • UAE Local market experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and industry-specific QA/QC practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office, quality management software, and report writing.
