Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Procurement Quality Control Engineer to ensure the quality and compliance of procured electrical equipment, instrumentation, and associated materials for engineering and industrial projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct vendor inspections and quality surveillance for electrical and instrumentation equipment and materials.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and vendor quality documents.
- Verify inspection records, test reports, material certificates, and equipment documentation.
- Monitor manufacturing, testing, and acceptance activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Identify non-conformities, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.
- Coordinate with vendors, procurement, engineering, and project teams.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records in line with project standards.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant E&I discipline, as applicable to the position.
- Minimum 15 years of total quality-related experience, including at least 5 years in E&I Procurement Quality Control.
- Experience with leading EPC companies such as L&T, Tecnimont, JGC, Técnicas Reunidas, Technip, Bechtel, or Saipem.
- Strong experience in vendor inspection and quality assurance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
