We are supporting a UAE-based organisation operating within an international defence, industrial and government-contracting environment.

We are seeking a Quality, Compliance & Export Control Officer.

Job Description

The successful candidate will support regulatory compliance, sanctions screening, export-control activities and counterparty due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory compliance.
• Conduct sanctions screening.
• Conduct restricted-party screening where required.
• Perform counterparty due diligence.
• Support supplier and customer compliance reviews.
• Review transactions for potential export-control restrictions.
• Maintain compliance records.
• Maintain due-diligence documentation.
• Support risk assessments.
• Escalate identified compliance issues.
• Maintain appropriate audit trails.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics and Management.
• Support internal compliance procedures and controls.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous compliance, export-control or trade-compliance experience.
• Knowledge of international sanctions.
• Knowledge of export-control requirements.
• Experience performing counterparty due diligence.
• Experience with controlled or dual-use products preferred.
• Defence, aerospace, international trading or government-contracting experience strongly advantageous.
• Strong documentation and analytical skills.
• Fluent English.
• High degree of integrity and confidentiality.
