Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality for products and services within an organization. The individual in this role is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and ensuring that the company’s output meets or exceeds customer expectations. This involves designing and implementing quality management systems, leading the QA team, and coordinating with other departments to ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the production process. The QA Manager must possess a keen eye for detail and strong leadership skills to effectively evaluate operations and guide personnel in achieving excellence in quality. Achieving certifications such as ISO or others pertinent to the industry is also a key responsibility, which can significantly enhance company credibility and consumer trust.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure standard compliance.
  • Lead and manage the quality assurance team to work effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality controls into existing processes.
  • Analyze quality performance data and implement improvements based on findings.
  • Provide training and development for staff on quality assurance methodologies.
  • Ensure that the company's products meet international and domestic quality regulations.
  • Report and document quality issues and work with teams to develop corrective actions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement within the organization.
  • Oversee the assessment and approval of product modifications and improvements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and share them with management teams.
  • Maintain and update quality control documentation and records as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in quality assurance or a related role.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing teams effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of quality assurance regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make decisions based on thorough analyses.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction.
  • Experience with quality management software and statistical analysis tools.
  • Certification in quality assurance such as ISO, Six Sigma, or others preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
