Responsibilities

• Develop and execute testing strategies to verify and validate software functionality.
• Design, develop, and conduct automated tests to optimize testing processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand and analyze project requirements.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through resolution.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure product integrity.
• Review system logs to identify program processing errors and ensure quality controls.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification efforts.
• Recommend improvements in developmental and operational processes for efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members.
• Continuously engage in learning to stay updated with emerging quality assurance tools.
• Participate in scrum meetings to provide insights and ensure quality deliverables.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is essential.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and any programming languages.
• Ability to understand complex systems and projects to critically evaluate output.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail are a must.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
