Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To perform Quality Audits / Inspections as part of the compliance monitoring program.
  • To perform Safety effectiveness audits and inspections as part of the safety assurance program.
  • To identify and record concerns and findings.
  • To initiate or recommend solutions to concerns or findings through designated reporting channels.
  • To identify and record hazards and to carry out risk assessment/analysis.
  • To identify / propose risk mitigating actions.
  • To verify the implementation of solutions (CAPA/mitigating actions) within agreed timescales.
  • Regularly update Quality System status and advise the reporting manager of the progress of preventive and corrective action.
  •   Regularly collect and update safety data and advise the reporting manager of the trends/hazards/status of mitigating actions.
  • Carry out investigations (safety / airworthiness / flight operations) as directed by the reporting manager.
  • Coordinate with different departments to retrieve safety data and operational data and accordingly prepare meeting presentations for SRB/SAG/MEM. Etc.
  • Review the company manuals revision as submitted by different departments.
  • Review and update department manuals (SMSM, CMM, LPM, etc.).
  • Prepare Quality/Safety training Material and provide training sessions as required.
  • Any other duties requested by the Director of Quality and Safety.


Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of Aviation experience in Quality and Safety functions in an Airline / MRO
  • Must have experience in the auditing and inspection process in the aviation industry.
  • Must have good knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations.
  • Excellent command of the English Language.
  • Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Required Trainings:

  • Aviation auditing techniques.
  • Human Factors.
  • EWIS.
  • Fuel Tank Safety.
  • EASA Part 145 / CAR 145 and EASA Part M / CAR M Training.
  • Aviation Safety Management System.


Desired Trainings:

  • Familiarization with the A320 family or the Gulfstream GIV.
  • Investigation Techniques.
  • Root Cause Analysis.
  • EASA OPS / UAE CAR AIR OPS.
  • OTHM level 7 or NVQ level 7 or equivalent
  • Train the Trainer.
