We are currently recruiting for a Quality Specialist to join the team in Abu Dhabi, This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day development, maintenance, and execution of the Quality and HSSE compliance programs at the EthosEnergy Abu Dhabi facility.
Job Responsibilities
Leading QC team in performing the day today activities in Workshop and providing technical assistance on Site.
In Charge for sending Equipment for Calibration and Maintaining Equipments Register.
Coordinating in-house calibration activities in workshop.
Overlooking the Welding activities in Workshop, Designing, Preparing and Maintaining WPS, PQR, and WPQ according to ASME IX, API 6A, API 16A.
Inspection of Welding Joints.
Welder re-validation (bi-annual)
Reviewing the Quality documents, procedures, pressure test certificates, GA Drawings, final documentation etc on daily basis and issuing the Certificate of Conformance/Compliance for all the jobs.
Preparing Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
Guiding Inspection team in Repair/Rework Recommendations for Well Head & Drill through Equipment like BOPs (Single Ram, Double Ram, Annular, Wire Line) Drilling spools, Christmas Tree, API 6A/ 16A/16C /5CT/ 7-1, Products like Studded Blocks, Drilling Spools, Crossovers, Pipes, PUP Joints, etc.
Reporting any non-conformance to Higher authorities and assisting QUALITY Manager to conclude the Root Cause Analysis & Corrective actions on NC Jobs.
Assist QUALITY Manager in API Q1 & ISO Audits & System Audits and for the business unit.
In charge of conducting all the NDT Process RT, UT, MPT, PT, PMI.
Preparing, maintain and review of routine and non-routine jobs method statements.
Preparation of Day-to-Day activity reports – Quality Package (NDE (MPI, LP, RT (Review of Film and Certs.) UT), Hardness, Pressure Test, Heat Treatment & PWHT (Review Reports), Inspection Reports.
Raising PR in iFlight system for all QC related activities.
Support development and rollout of Quality strategic plans, policies, procedures, and initiatives in alignment with the EthosEnergy QUALITY Standards and annual improvement plans.
Support BU leaders/facility managers/project managers to establish annual site performance goals and objectives.
Support QUALITY execution in the Middle East Region and ensure project specific mobilization plans are in place and in compliance with the EthosEnergy HSSE standards, applicable customer requirements, and local, state, country, HSSE regulations.
Ensure compliance with EE Security Risk Management procedure within the Middle East Region
The Management Representative for driving Service Excellence principles and Quality Management
System for Middle East operations and ensure the processes needed for Quality Management are established, implemented, and maintained.
Facilitate and lead the Management Team in implementation of data driven process improvements focused on improving customer loyalty yielding business growth.
Serve as the Service Excellence subject matter expert for the business unit training and mentoring management, all employees, the process owners and improvement teams.
Ensure initiation of action(s) to minimize the likelihood of the occurrence of nonconformities.
Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
Assist / advise on a preparation of Quality Plan / Inspection of test plan.
Controls and updates the QA documents and records, prepare monthly QMS reports
Conduct Periodic Quality system audits for the business units across the region.
Assist in supplier evaluation of re-evaluation processes
API project lead for new Monogram application includes Product and process review, design pack.
To support maintaining the API standards/specifications pertaining to product quality.
Required Skills / Knowledge
Comprehensive knowledge of the principle and intent of ISO 9001 and API Q1, API Q2, API 6A, API 16A, API 16C, API 5CT , API 7-1.
Working knowledge of root cause analysis and the associated tools bachelor’s degree holder
Strong indirect management and leadership skills
Understanding and acting on need to elevate quality issues and concerns to management.
Sound Knowledge of Operational hazards and controls.
Sound Knowledge International quality standards.
Ability to train the people on quality aspects.
Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Customer focused
Strong written and verbal communication at all levels

Experience
Prior Business Management Leadership Experience
Hands on experience in managing Management Systems in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 / API Spec Q1 / API Spec Q2
Hands on experience in API 6A, 16A, 5CT, 16C, 7-1 products.
Hands on experience in driving process improvements
Prior experience with successful Change Management tools used to impact the culture of the
organization
Experience in leading an audit team for Internal and External audits Knowledge in Operational Hazards and controls.
Education Requirements
Qualified Internal Auditor for QHSE standards.
Diploma in OH&S preferred.
Candidate must hold, or be able to obtain, a valid passport and work visas as required in the various countries in which we work

Sufficient physical ability to work in an office setting and operate office equipment
