Job Description
The QC Engineer (Painting & Coating) is responsible for ensuring the quality of painting and coating processes in manufacturing or construction projects. They will develop and implement quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and collaborate with project teams to resolve any quality issues. The QC Engineer will also provide technical support and guidance to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for painting and coating processes.
- Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Perform tests and evaluate paint and coating materials for quality and durability.
- Collaborate with project teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project personnel.
- Monitor and document quality metrics to assess process performance.
- Train employees on quality control procedures and promote a culture of quality excellence.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in painting and coating technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in quality control, specifically in painting and coating.
- Strong knowledge of painting and coating processes and materials.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
