Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans for marine projects.
• Conduct regular inspections of marine facilities to ensure quality standards.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality performance of marine contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure that all quality control procedures and processes are strictly followed.
• Manage and document non-conformance reports and corrective actions effectively.
• Liaise with project managers to ensure quality objectives are being met successfully.
• Perform audits on marine engineering and construction activities for compliance.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum of five years' experience in quality assurance/control in the marine industry.
• Strong knowledge of marine industry regulations and quality standards essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
• Proficient with quality inspection tools and various marine testing methodologies.
• Leadership capability to train and guide teams to uphold quality benchmarks.
