We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QAQC (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) Marine specialist to join our team. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QAQC procedures tailored to marine operations and projects.
• Conduct thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Identify and document deficiencies in maritime operations and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure QAQC requirements are integrated into planning stages.
• Maintain detailed records of testing processes, materials, and equipment used in marine projects.
• Facilitate training sessions to educate staff on QAQC principles and best practices.
• Review specifications and engineering designs for potential quality issues and improvements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and inspectors during formal audits of marine operations.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Stay updated on international and local marine quality and safety regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive QAQC reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years' experience in QAQC roles within a marine environment.
• Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and quality standards.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough audits and inspections in a marine setting.
• Excellent analytical skills for identifying potential quality issues and solutions.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with all levels of staff.
• Certifications in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using QAQC management software and reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work in various locations and adapt to changing project needs.
