Job Description

The QAQC Manager - Civil is a key role focused on ensuring the highest quality standards within civil engineering projects. This position is responsible for implementing and managing quality assurance and quality control protocols to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications. As a QAQC Manager, you will oversee a team of professionals, inspect processes and materials, and provide leadership while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. A successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and an unwavering commitment to quality. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure the seamless execution of civil projects.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QAQC plans for civil engineering projects.
  • Lead a team of QAQC professionals, providing guidance and direction as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers to address quality issues and implement solutions.
  • Review and approve project documentation, including quality reports and inspection records.
  • Ensure materials used in projects meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Analyze project processes to identify areas for quality improvement and efficiency.
  • Develop training programs for staff to increase awareness of quality standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with clients to discuss quality-related matters and provide necessary reports.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive quality reports to senior management.
  • Implement corrective actions when non-compliance or defects are identified.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
  • At least five years of experience in quality assurance within civil projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of professionals.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and inspection software tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients.
  • Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
