Job Summary:

The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for monitoring and inspecting construction, fabrication, installation, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, approved drawings, and applicable codes. The role involves conducting inspections, preparing reports, identifying non-conformities, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and completed works to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and QA/QC standards.
  • Monitor site activities and verify that construction works are executed in accordance with approved quality procedures and client requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, checklists, material inspection reports, test certificates, and NCR documentation.
  • Witness and verify site inspections, testing activities, and coordinate with laboratories and third-party inspection agencies.
  • Identify quality issues, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective and preventive actions until successful closure.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure timely inspections and quality compliance.
  • Attend quality meetings, provide inspection updates, and support project teams in resolving quality-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with project Quality Management Systems (QMS), HSE requirements, applicable codes, standards, and client specifications throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications :

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant QA/QC certifications are preferred.


Experience :

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
  • Experience with client inspections and quality documentation is preferred.


Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.


Working Conditions :

  • Site-based position.
  • May require work at construction sites, workshops, or industrial facilities depending on project requirements.
