Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise QA/QC activities during fabrication of mechanical and E&I systems.
  • Conduct inspections and tests in accordance with approved ITPs and quality plans.
  • Ensure all fabrication work complies with engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.
  • Identify and manage non-conformances and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Interface with welding, electrical, and instrumentation teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and prepare reports for project and client teams.
  • Support pre-commissioning and punch-list activities prior to offshore loadout.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in oil and gas, with offshore and fabrication yard exposure.
  • Strong background in mechanical fabrication and E&I installation and inspection.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, IEC, IEEE).
  • Recognized QA/QC certifications (e.g., CSWIP, AWS, NACE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Offshore certification (e.g., BOSIET) preferred or required depending on project scope.
