QA QC Engineer

Job Description

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with approved quality standards, project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes, in line with the Project Quality Plan.

Responsibilities

• Implement and follow the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and QA/QC procedures
• Review and approve Method Statements, ITPs, and Quality Control procedures
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks for ongoing construction activities
• Raise and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor corrective actions
• Review material submittals, inspection requests (IRs), and test results
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors on quality-related matters
• Maintain proper quality documentation, reports, and records
• Support snagging, handover, and close-out activities
• Participate in internal and external quality audits
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer
• Experience on UAE-based projects (Aldar or similar developers preferred)
• Knowledge of UAE codes, standards, and authority requirements
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• ISO 9001 Internal / Lead Auditor certification (preferred)
• Candidate should be currently in the UAE or willing to relocate
