QA Manager Airline Domain Experience

Summary

The QA Manager role within the airline domain is focused on leading and strengthening quality assurance practices across digital transformation programs, ensuring high standards of software quality across mission-critical airline systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA activities for medium to large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure comprehensive testing across key airline platforms, including PSS, Reservations, Ticketing, DCS, Check-In, and GDS/Amadeus.
• Oversee full-cycle QA delivery, including Functional, Non-Functional, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Utilize ALM tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira for test management, tracking, and reporting.
• Mentor and support QA teams throughout the entire testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Agile release teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery quality.
  
  

• Proven experience managing QA for mid- to large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Strong domain expertise in airline systems (PSS, Reservations, Ticketing, DCS, Check-In, GDS/Amadeus).
• Hands-on experience in Web, Mobile, Middleware, and Interface testing.
• Demonstrated capability in delivering end-to-end QA (Functional, Non-Functional, and UAT).
• Proficiency with ALM tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor teams and manage the full QA lifecycle.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
• Relevant QA or testing certifications.
