QA Automation Tester (Automation, Performance & SRE-Aligned Testing)

Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Automation Tester to drive automated testing and performance validation across cloud-based applications. You will work across infrastructure, SRE, and application teams to ensure systems are stable, scalable, and production-ready through robust automation frameworks.

This role combines automation testing, performance engineering, and infrastructure awareness, supporting multiple squads and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated regression testing frameworks, primarily using Bash and scripting tools
• Conduct stress and load testing of APIs and applications (e.g., using Postman or similar tools)
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to validate environment configurations, SKUs, and scaling behaviour
• Work closely with SRE and security teams to ensure reliability and compliance standards are met
• Execute end-to-end testing across multiple applications and environments
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
• Support testing across multiple squads and concurrent projects
• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimisation strategies
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in QA automation testing
• Hands-on expertise in automation scripting (Bash preferred)
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
• Knowledge of performance and load testing methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
• Exposure to SRE principles, system reliability, and monitoring
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-team environments
