At InterContinental Abu Dhabi, every detail matters. We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Public Area Attendant to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of our public spaces. Your role ensures that guests experience a spotless and welcoming environment throughout their stay.

As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel including the lobby, corridors, restrooms, elevators, and other guest-accessible areas. Your work contributes directly to the luxurious standards our guests expect.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:

• Clean and sanitize public areas such as the lobby, corridors, elevators, restrooms, meeting rooms, and entrances.
• Replenish supplies in public restrooms and maintain cleanliness throughout the day.
• Ensure high-touch areas (elevator buttons, door handles, etc.) are disinfected regularly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and provide courteous assistance.
• Maintain equipment and cleaning tools in good condition.
• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations including HACCP guidelines.
• Support housekeeping team with special cleaning projects or tasks as needed.
  
  

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in cleaning or public area maintenance, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Reliable, honest, and hardworking attitude.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
