    • He / She is expected to establish direct contact with Client and other Bureau Veritas Contracting / Performing offices.
    • Minimum Required Qualifications

    • Specialty
Excellent communication skill in English

Shop Inspection coordination experience.

    • Education
Degree / Diploma in Engineering

    • Training
    • Shop Inspection coordination with good communication skill in English

    Bureau Veritas World Wide Shop Inspection Guidelines.

    • In BV HSE, SIEBEL and Q&S.

    • Technical knowledge
Schedule the Inspector according to client specification and Technical requirements.

Issuing Assignment Instructions to Performing Centers in line with Technical Scope & within the frame of client agreement & BV Regulations.

Minimum 12-15 Years Experience In Similar Field

  • Responsibilities / Authorities
    • Primary Functions
    • Review of applicable contractual requirements (Technical standards, specifications etc.)
    • Review and validation of inspection assignment documentation (technical aspects, reference documentation, schedule, milestones, reporting, logistics, co-ordination procedure, etc.)
    • Definition of Bureau Veritas interventions
    • Send Instructions to BV performing offices along with technical specification, Internal Purchase Order and contact details.
    • Coordinate with BV performing offices for scheduling inspection
    • Liaise with BV performing offices for Execution of inspection, reporting including treatment of Non-conformities (NCR’s) and other applicable deliverables
    • Ensuring quality of inspection according to BV Quality System
    • Follow up with BV performing offices for submitting the reports on time
    • Maintaining internal and external communication
    • Prepare internal invoices for clearing payment
    • Promotes Bureau Veritas service portfolio to clients
    • Respects security guidelines of Bureau Veritas and safeguards personal security in the working environment
    • Actively participates in the sharing of knowledge and information (Knowledge Management)
    • If necessary Prepare monthly report and submit to Client on time for review and further action.
    • Prepare the Invoices and submit to the Client.

    • Technical Expertise
    • Application of codes and standards, project specifications and procedures
    • Within his field of competency, the inspector is expected to conduct the activities stated in Primary functions.
    • Fully conversant with inspection techniques and able to review reports
    • Able to verify and approve non-conformities / corrective actions
    • Able to identify required Bureau Veritas interventions, based on a pre-defined Quality Plan and according to specified standards.

    • Business Requirements
    • Report to Operations Manager – WW Operations / INP Manager when there is an area of concern
    • Attend meeting with Clients as and when required and maintain cordial relationship with all Clients.
    • Initiate, implement and maintain the required tracking registers to monitor the progress of the inspections for each purchase order as per the approved ITPs.
    • Submit Weekly /Monthly Reports for Shop Inspections Services for Assigned Projects

    • Maintains a high degree of expertise through permanent specialized training and knowledge management.
    • Meet project development objectives
    • Should be Results oriented, Service driven and Problem solving
    • Comply with company regulations, procedures and Code of Ethics.

    • Customer Focus
    • Ensure that Inspection is carried out as per Purchase order / approved drawings / Inspection test plans and other applicable Technical specifications.
    • Maintain regular job-related contact with clients and Liaises with client and/or Project Management Consultant with ease
    • Understand client needs and work to achieve successful project outcomes.
    • Maintain & Submit Project Related Reports /records like status report, time sheets, weekly report & any other record agreed in the contract.
    • Develop trust and open communication with the client.
    • Regularly monitor customer satisfaction.

    • HSE Requirements

  • Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV Group HSE Policies and procedures, client’s HSE procedures and practices.
  • Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/supervisor
  • Report immediately any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.
  • Report immediately any HSE incident and cooperate in investigation
  • Use appropriate PPE at work area and be aware of:
    • the risks appropriate PPE will control or minimize
    • Report immediately in case the PPE is worn off or lost.
    • maintenance and inspection arrangements
    • Arrange the appropriate PPE for Surveyors / Inspectors.
    • Performance Monitoring
