The Project Planner (Construction) is a pivotal role within our construction team, responsible for the meticulous planning and coordination of projects. Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project schedules and timelines coordinating with stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with project managers to align project goals and timelines effectively.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Identify and resolve issues that could affect the project timetable or budget.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal construction regulations.
  • Organize and participate in regular stakeholder meetings to review progress.
  • Use project management software to track project variables and ensure synchronization.
  • Coordinate with resource management for optimal allocation and utilization of workforce.
  • Ensure all project plans adhere to safety and environmental standards.
  • Support the procurement team by providing time-based deliverables for material orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience of 3-5 years as a Project Planner in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret project requirements and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards.
