Project Manager

Tasks

• Assume full accountability for end-to-end delivery of building construction projects, from mobilisation through to testing, commissioning, and handover
• Lead all site operations, ensuring alignment across programme, cost, quality, and safety objectives
• Direct and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders, maintaining control over execution at all stages
• Drive adherence to contractual requirements, managing obligations, risks, and project interfaces proactively
• Establish and maintain baseline programmes, overseeing sequencing, critical path activities, and recovery strategies where required
• Monitor and control project performance, including productivity, resource allocation, and manpower planning (including histogram development)
• Oversee implementation and compliance with HSE and QA/QC systems, ensuring standards are consistently met across all work fronts
• Review and validate technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies, ensuring buildability and execution readiness
• Lead coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction functions, ensuring seamless project integration
• Maintain oversight of commercial performance, supporting cost control, variation management, and claims processes
• Provide clear and structured project reporting to senior management, including progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Act as the primary interface with the client and consultants, ensuring professional representation and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (4-year programme)
• 15–20 years of experience within a main contracting environment, focused on building construction projects in the UAE
• Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager capacity, with proven ownership of full project delivery
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects from mobilisation through to final handover
• Proven background in building projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use developments)Note: infrastructure, oil & gas, or non-building project experience will not be considered
• In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, equipment, and site execution practices
• Working knowledge of contractual frameworks, project controls, and commercial management
• Ability to interpret and manage technical documentation, specifications, and construction programmes
• Experience in resource planning and manpower management, including preparation and oversight of manpower histograms
• Sound knowledge of HSE regulations and QA/QC systems within construction environments
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices, regulatory requirements, and market conditions
• Proficiency in standard project management, planning, and reporting tools
• Demonstrated ability to drive productivity, cost efficiency, and timely project delivery
• Confident leadership presence with the ability to manage high-pressure, site-driven environments
