Project Manager Marketing Communications Creative Agency

We are hiring a Project Manager for a forward-thinking brand and marketing agency in Abu Dhabi, known for delivering creative, high-impact campaigns across diverse industries.

Overview

The Project Manager leads end-to-end delivery of media projects across branding, PR, social media, events and communications. The role owns the master deliverable plan, coordinates multiple external partners and vendors, and serves as the primary client contact — with particular expertise managing government and institutional clients through formal approval workflows and structured reporting.

Mandatory: experience managing government or large institutional projects

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the master project plan: timelines, milestones, dependencies, and approval gates across all workstreams
• Coordinate multi-partner delivery — managing PR agencies, social creators, media vendors, and production suppliers in parallel
• Manage day-to-day client communication including status reporting, approvals, and change management
• Proactively identify, log, and mitigate project risks across all workstreams, escalating critical issues to senior management and the client before they impact delivery timelines or budget.
• Navigate government client protocols: formal sign-off processes, compliance requirements, and senior stakeholder presentations
• Maintain programme documentation: RAID log, scopes of work, cost trackers, and post-project reviews
• Chair kick-off meetings, weekly standups, and formal review sessions with clients and internal teams

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' project management experience in a marketing, communications, or creative agency
• Proven delivery of complex, multi-partner media projects from brief to completion
• Mandatory: experience managing government or large institutional projects
• Mandatory: prior work experience in the UAE
• Working knowledge of media production, social media operations, and PR/communications workflows
• Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, or equivalent) and MSOffice
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage
