The Project Manager - IT will oversee and manage the successful initiation, planning, execution, and closure of technology projects within our organization. This role demands a dynamic professional capable of leading cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that project goals are accomplished within the designated timeframe and budget. The Project Manager will play a critical role in line with the strategic objectives of the organization, utilizing advanced analytical abilities and exceptional interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT project management, with a proven track record of working on diverse technology projects, staying current with industry trends, and applying best practices. They will be responsible for mitigating risks, facilitating efficient communication, and driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. The ability to adapt to changing environments, leverage project management methodologies, and deliver successful outcomes is integral to this position.


Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the seamless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and budget.
  • Engage and manage client relationships to align on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and proactively address challenges.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Measure project performance utilizing appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Facilitate efficient communication among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments to project plans as deemed necessary.
  • Conduct regular project evaluations to determine areas of improvement and ensure success.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to effectively execute deliverables and meet objectives.
  • Ensure resource allocation is sufficient for achieving project milestones successfully.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
  • Proven working experience as an IT project manager for at least five years.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle and project management methodologies.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential for this role.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred and highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
