Job Description

As a Project Manager in the Construction and Oil & Gas industry, you will have the exciting opportunity to oversee large-scale projects from inception to completion. Your role will be integral in coordinating and managing diverse teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead efforts in project planning, execution, monitoring, and control processes, ensuring all project objectives align with industry standards and company goals. With your strategic vision and technical expertise, you will mitigate risks and ensure compliance with all relevant legal and environmental regulations. This position demands exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively liaise between stakeholders, clients, and various departments involved in the projects.


Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules to guide project execution.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams to ensure adherence to project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans to meet evolving project demands.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage procurement processes, including resource allocation and contract negotiations.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and feedback.
  • Ensure quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide team development opportunities.
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare detailed project reports for review.
  • Resolve any project-related conflicts and challenges that may arise.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget constraints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in project management within oil & gas or construction.
  • Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $10 million in budget.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and environmental safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools such as MS Project.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
