Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the Project Management Office team in their own area of responsibility. Each day, you will support project managers in defining, implementing, and applying project management policies and work instructions. You will also showcase your expertise by contributing to the definition and implementation of project execution strategy.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to AUEN in UAE. Main stakeholders are Customers, Project Managers and Operation / Service Delivery team.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensuring customer focus, urgency, and care in your area of responsibility, delivering superior Project Management experience and driving relentless improvement of customer satisfaction.
• Working with the customer in identifying opportunities for improving the customers operations and eliminating pain points.
• Overseeing project management activities at the portfolio level through project reviews with the management team and project managers.
• Serving as an escalation point for individual and systemic project management issues and taking an active role in resolving escalated issues.
• Provides coaching and career development planning for subordinates to ensure that they develop capabilities and competencies needed by the project operations.

Qualifications for the role:

• You are highly skilled in Project Management and have experience working with automation and electrical solutions in the Oil & Gas and Power & Water sectors.
• Experience with Onshore and Offshore Oil and Gas customer especially ADNOC and GCC customers.
• You have over 15 years of experience in the project management field.
• Possess knowledge of ABB Control and Electrical Systems.
• You are passionate about customer collaboration and problem solving, and have good communication skills
• Degree in Engineering with demonstrated expertise in automation systems and/or process applications across the Oil & Gas and Power & Water industries
• You are at ease communicating in English with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
• You hold current certifications in Project Management such as PMP or ABB PM/SPM Certifications.
