Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our civil engineering team. In this role, you will support the successful planning, implementation, and completion of various civil projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of project management principles. As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate resources effectively, and maintain accurate project documentation for civil engineering projects.


Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in planning and overseeing civil engineering projects effectively.
  • Coordinate communication between all project stakeholders and team members efficiently.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation including schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Facilitate meetings and ensure stakeholder engagement and participation throughout.
  • Support the resolution of project issues and conflicts swiftly and efficiently.
  • Monitor project progress and performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all project materials and resources are procured and managed properly.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of project documentation for retrieval and review.
  • Coordinate compliance with project and regulatory requirements diligently.
  • Assist in preparing project status reports and updates for management review.
  • Provide assistance in ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards consistently.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to align project objectives and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in project coordination or management roles.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and project management practices.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory frameworks preferred.
