Job Description

The Project Coordinator is a vital role within our organization, responsible for ensuring that all project activities are conducted smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills to manage different stakeholders and project timelines effectively. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, the Project Coordinator will work alongside project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role demands a dynamic individual who is adaptable and can balance multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality delivery. The Project Coordinator will be the pivotal link between the project team, clients, and vendors, ensuring cohesive communication and successful project outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in developing comprehensive project plans that meet client requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Schedule and participate in meetings to keep the team updated on project progress.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are up to date and accessible.
  • Facilitate communication between project team members, clients, and external vendors.
  • Prepare and disseminate project status reports, highlighting milestones and potential risks.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial tracking of project costs against the budget.
  • Identify and escalate any potential issues that may affect project outcomes or timelines.
  • Support the implementation of project management methodologies to ensure best practices.
  • Maintain effective relationships with all internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with team members to gather necessary information and deliverables on time.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or relevant field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or management required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle various project activities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or equivalent tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to meet project goals.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to foresee and mitigate potential project risks.
