Job Summary
The Production Coordinator will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the production schedule, coordinating across the department to ensure projects are detailed, processed, completed and delivered on time including all supporting documents. The ideal candidate will be a strong organizer with experience in machine-shop activities mainly in OCTG manufacturing, able to create and maintain structured schedules systems that improve efficiency and accountability.
Review of Customer Purchase Orders / Work Orders
Coordinating the day-to-day workflow, setting production schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered on time
Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
Monitor and track project progress and adjust schedules as needed
Assist in the allocation of resources to meet project objectives
Analyze data to forecast project needs and deadlines
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Liaise with Machine-Shop Supervisor / Manager for ongoing and pending projects
Liaising with sales (and customer) to keep updated of project progress and completion date
Planning and managing material stock levels, tooling, and general workshop resources to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
Prepare Cut Plans for manufacturing products
Implementing and enforcing quality control standards to ensure all products meet high specifications and client expectations
Maintaining a safe and organized working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety (H&S) regulations, risk assessments, and managing PPE requirements
Interpreting technical drawings, specifications to ensure accurate translation into production and providing technical guidance to the team
Driving initiatives to enhance production methods, improve efficiency, and implement new technologies.
Capturing Data in Metrics SharePoint and Conducting Quarterly Reviews
Maintaining Discipline
Implementing Effectively Company Quality and HSE Management System
Coordinate / distribute work to machines, and make sure all machines are manned and running
Assist QA / QC inspector on Nonconforming products
Use Company QAR system to capture non-conformances
Proven experience in leadership or senior role within a machine-shop manufacturing environment
Strong technical knowledge of OCTG Threading processes, materials, tools, and machinery (including CNC machinery)
Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on management approach
Good knowledge of health and safety standards in a workshop environment
Excellent ability to read and interpret technical and CAD drawings
High competence with spreadsheet software like Excel Sheets, SoildWorks and creating schedules planners
Work as a team member with amicable relations within and outside department.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPEREINCE
Essential
High school education or equivalent, 3 years of experience in same position.
Must have a minimum 3-5 year experience in a similar position, have experience in machining and working on OCTG Threading (API, JFE etc.) plus Rotatory Shoulder Connections inspection (API, Grant Prideco etc.) on Casing / Tubing and Drill pipe and Drill Stem Components.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Analytical mindset with an ability to foresee issues and problem-solve
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Have good machine shop knowledge. Be able to read and interpret specifications to API, Grant Prideco, OCTG Premium Connections etc.
