Production Equipment Maintenance Technician Defence Aerospace Industrial UAE

We are looking for an experienced Production Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of industrial production machinery.

The successful candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose equipment failures and ensure safe and reliable operation of production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of industrial production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and equipment failure causes.
• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance.
• Replace, adjust and repair mechanical assemblies.
• Maintain drives, pneumatic systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Support troubleshooting involving hydraulic, electrical and automation systems within the scope of the role.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and operating documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment safely.
• Support equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.
• Follow safe maintenance procedures.
• Comply with LOTO requirements and all applicable EHS procedures.
• Perform specialized activities only where appropriately qualified or authorized.
  
  

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or vocational qualification in:
• Mechanics;
• Mechatronics;
• Industrial Equipment;
• or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial equipment repair and maintenance experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of mechanics, drives and pneumatics.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems and automation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
• Experience using mechanical, electrical and measuring tools.
• Knowledge of LOTO and safe industrial maintenance practices.
• Relevant technical certifications may be required depending on the work performed.
