Production Area Supervisor Shift Supervisor Defence Aerospace Industrial UAE

We are looking for an experienced Production Area Supervisor / Shift Supervisor to manage the day-to-day activities of an industrial manufacturing production area.

The successful candidate will coordinate production personnel, monitor output, equipment performance, quality and downtime, and ensure production and EHS requirements are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage daily production-area activities.
• Plan and monitor shift and daily production targets.
• Monitor production output and equipment performance.
• Track product quality, defects and production downtime.
• Coordinate:
• machine operators;
• maintenance personnel;
• warehouse personnel;
• inspectors/sorters;
• packers.
• Monitor compliance with process parameters.
• Ensure production discipline and adherence to operating procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance and equipment changeovers.
• Analyze causes of defects, downtime and productivity deviations.
• Support continuous production improvement.
• Maintain high standards of EHS compliance.
• Supervise and coordinate production personnel.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in:
• Engineering;
• Manufacturing;
• Industrial Technology;
• Mechanical Engineering;
• or a related technical discipline.
  

OR

• Technical diploma with documented relevant industrial experience.
• Minimum 3 years of production-area or shift-management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of serial-production principles.
• Knowledge of industrial production equipment.
• Ability to analyze productivity, defects and downtime.
• Experience coordinating equipment maintenance and production changeovers.
• Confident Excel user.
• ERP/MES experience preferred.
• Knowledge of 5S, OEE and Lean Manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong personnel-management and EHS leadership skills.
