Job Description
The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and management of a product or product line. This role requires strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, as well as knowledge of the market and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Define product positioning and develop marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and marketing, to develop and launch new products.
- Manage the product life cycle, including pricing, packaging, and promotion.
- Monitor and analyze product performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop sales forecasts and budgets for the product line.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Support sales teams with product training and provide product knowledge support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management or a similar role.
- Knowledge of product development processes and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong project management skills.
