Product Manager - Payment And Transaction Gateway

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Product Manager – Payments & Transaction Gateway to lead the development and optimization of our WPS-linked loan offers, overdraft facilities, and prepaid card products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payments ecosystems, transaction gateways, and exchange house operations, with experience building B2C digital financial products.

You will play a key role in driving product innovation, enhancing transaction flows, and delivering seamless financial experiences for our customers across payroll-linked and prepaid ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle for WPS-linked loans, salary overdraft, and prepaid card products.
• Design, develop, and manage transaction gateway integrations with banks, exchange houses, and payroll partners.
• Define and optimize payment flows, settlement processes, and reconciliation mechanisms.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance system reliability, uptime, and transaction success rates.
• Work closely with exchange houses and corporate partners for WPS integrations and product rollouts.
• Drive customer adoption, retention, and engagement across B2C channels (app, web, POS, and partner ecosystems).
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research to identify new opportunities in the digital payments and lending space.
• Develop and track key KPIs — transaction volume, conversion rates, NPLs, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment with Central Bank and labor/WPS regulations.
• Manage product documentation, feature prioritization, and go-to-market strategies.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in product management within Payments, Fintech, or Exchange Houses.
• Proven track record managing payment gateways, prepaid cards, or salary-linked loan/overdraft products.
• Strong understanding of WPS systems, transaction settlement, and compliance workflows.
• Hands-on experience with API-based integrations, payment orchestration, or switch systems.
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in B2C fintech environments and working with exchange houses is a plus.
