About The Role
The Product Manager is accountable for defining, developing, and driving the product road map and lifecycle of the turbofan propulsion systems throughout the full lifecycle. The role ensures that market needs, customer expectation and platform integration requirements are translated into clear product objectives, priorities and development pathway. Acting as the voice of product inside the department and voice of customer, as a primary interface with platform OEM and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Accountant for overall coordination of engineering, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and industrialization to ensure engine compliance during development test and serial phases; maintain the product requirements follow-up and ensure proper traceability to customer needs and certification standards, and all standards applicable (engineering standards, design rules and methodologies, validation criteria, performance and safety margins).
Capture and consolidate customer requirements and mission needs, translating them into prioritized product specifications and technical/engineering requirements. Act as a primary product representative for platforms OEM, and key stakeholders. Build strong relationship with platform integrator and ensure alignment between platform and engine road maps.
Ensure appropriate coordination with platforms OEM, key stakeholders and internal teams: Test Engineering, System Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure engine integrity, technical consistency between modules and system (as a whole).
Ensure the product’s project progress throughout development up to serial production. Coordinate and maintain the product plan and key success factors to reach milestones (PDR, CDR, SOF, Serial…) including consistency of deliverables (development, production plan, certification, airworthiness…). Manage, follow and approve change orders, risks and compliance.
Monitor compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality processes.
Manage product profitability and lifecycle (entry-into-service, upgrades, support). Support MRO during service life (including incident analysis, engine troubleshooting, major issue).
Support the Product Vision and technical/market positioning for the turbofan family, define targets. Benchmark competitors and market trends. Support business development activities by providing product expertise, performance estimations and value proposition. Support the definition of Multi-Generation Product Plan
Mentor, coach, and develop the product management team, promoting continuous improvement and alignment with company engineering standards. Organize knowledge management along the product lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or other complex engineered systems.
Solid understanding of turbofan architectures (turbofan, modules, sub-systems and their integration constraints), performance drivers and technology road maps
Experience in product management, program leadership, system approach and all related tools.
Exposure to customer, OEMs, authorities, or large-scale development programs
Knowledge of V&V, airworthiness and certification frameworks (such as FAA Part 33, CS-25, …)

Ability to analyze and structure complex information into actionable product decision under pressure with a sense of urgency
Ability to work in a multicultural environment, across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams
