Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:

Develop project-specific procurement strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements

Prepare procurement plans, material take-offs, and sourcing timelines for Building/infrastructure projects.

Identify, prequalify, and manage suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.

Coordinate with engineering, planning, and project teams to forecast procurement needs.

Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tenders for materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.

Lead bid evaluations (technical and commercial) and negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.

Ensure contracts align with project specifications, legal requirements, and company policies.

Achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing, bulk purchasing, and long-term supplier agreements.

Monitor procurement budgets and report cost variances.

Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and local/international procurement regulations.

Manage procurement of key infrastructure/Civil materials and heavy construction equipment.

Liaise with project managers, engineers, finance, QA/QC, and HSE teams

Support claims, variations, and audits related to procurement activities

Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and correspondence

Prepare procurement status reports, cash flow forecasts, and supplier performance reviews.

Qualifications:

Min 12+ years of UAE Experience in Construction Companies

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

Strong Experience in Building/Infrastructure Projects

Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills
