We are recruiting a Procurement Manager -Fit Out to join our exceptional team at Royal Joinery. In this role, you will lead and manage the company's procurement function, ensuring the timely sourcing and delivery of materials and services for joinery, fit-out, and construction projects. You will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring value for money while maintaining quality and compliance.

The Procurement Manager is accountable for leading and managing all procurement activities to support business operations and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and project requirements.
• Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to achieve the best value for the company.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
• Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle, from material planning and purchasing to delivery and payment coordination.
• Work closely with project, engineering, production, and finance teams to ensure procurement activities meet project schedules.
• Monitor market trends, material availability, and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
• Ensure inventory levels are optimised while preventing material shortages or excess stock.
• Review and approve purchase orders and procurement documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and procurement regulations.
• Prepare procurement reports, analyse spending trends, and provide recommendations to improve procurement performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives and continuous improvement.
  
  
  

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of procurement experience, including 3 years in a managerial role within the UAE fit-out, joinery, or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of interior fit-out, joinery, MEP, and finishing materials, with an established network of UAE suppliers and subcontractors.

Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost control for fit-out projects.

Ability to plan procurement activities, manage material schedules, and ensure timely project delivery.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle/SAP), procurement software, and Microsoft Office.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

Good understanding of UAE procurement practices, commercial contracts, and industry regulations.
