Procurement Coordinator

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for managing procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role supports procurement planning, cost control, and vendor relationship management. The ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and have solid knowledge of supply chain processes and purchasing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, pricing, and delivery performance.

• Process purchase orders and ensure alignment with internal demand.

• Track shipments and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.

• Negotiate terms and contracts to obtain favorable pricing and conditions.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting procurement needs.

• Coordinate with internal departments to meet material and equipment requirements.

• Monitor vendor performance and resolve any supply issues.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and company standards.

• Support audits and reporting related to purchasing activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
