The Procurement Analyst at our organization plays a crucial role in optimizing and managing our supply chain operations. This position requires a keen analytical mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement processes, supplier relationship management, and strategic sourcing strategies. This role is integral in ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in our procurement practices while adhering to all company policies and industry regulations. As a Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing strategies for procurement activities, ensuring optimal purchasing, and contributing to the continuous improvement of procurement processes. The successful candidate will be goal-oriented and have the ability to interpret complex data to drive strategic sourcing decisions.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate procurement data to identify trends and savings opportunities.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and pricing.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand and fulfill their purchasing needs.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service and product delivery.
  • Monitor market trends and changes in supply and demand to minimize risks.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for procurement activities.
  • Review supplier performance and support initiatives for supplier improvement and development.
  • Prepare and present detailed procurement reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards in all procurement activities.
  • Identify and assess potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives and process improvements across procurement operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or in a similar role in procurement.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement and supply chain management principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams.
  • Familiarity with legal regulations and safety standards in procurement.
