We are supporting a UAE-based organisation operating within a highly regulated defence and government-contracting environment.

We are seeking an experienced PRO / Government Relations Officer.

Job Description

The PRO will manage government transactions, employee visas, corporate licences, permits and regulatory renewals.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee visa and residency transactions.
• Manage work-permit and immigration procedures.
• Coordinate corporate licence renewals.
• Coordinate government approvals and permits.
• Liaise with relevant UAE government authorities.
• Monitor document expiry and renewal dates.
• Maintain government-relations records.
• Follow up pending government transactions.
• Coordinate with HR and Administration.
• Support company regulatory requirements.
• Maintain professional relationships with government stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven PRO / Government Relations experience in the UAE.
• Experience dealing with UAE government authorities.
• Previous experience in defence, government contracting or another highly regulated sector strongly preferred.
• Fluent English and Arabic.
• Strong understanding of UAE government procedures.
• Strong organisational and follow-up skills.
• Abu Dhabi experience highly advantageous.
