Principal Resident Engineer

Job Description

As a Principle Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical engineering projects within the Power Distribution domain. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are executed according to specifications, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Define Electrical Engineering strategies and undertake feasibility works across numerous project types in UAE.
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
• Undertake project documentation reviews and checking in accordance with QA procedures
• Lead the project and undertake line manager responsibility for the project supervision team
• Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies
• Ensure the right resources are utilized effectively at the right time in projects Including engaging with the
• Complimentary Resource Centers (CRCs) to ensure that communication and design and review processes are continually improved and achieve required targets with expected quality.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with specific experience in overhead line projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• A Master's degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as a Resident Engineer Electrical in large infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical engineering principles and practices.
• Experience and proven ability to lead and manage an engineering team in multi- disciplinary projects with teams based across multiple locations around the globe
